Technical Sales Assistant

We are hiring a Technical Sales Assistant based in Coimbatore to support client's sales and project team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a European client, gain international exposure, and grow with us from the ground up.

Role Description

• Manage customer portals and maintain accurate sales records and documentation

• Join customer calls with the Sales Manager to capture actions, tasks, and follow-ups

• Prepare quotations, sales templates, and packaging specifications

• Review RFQ (Request for Quotation) requirements and help break down the scope of work

• Perform basic CAD work in coordination with the customer's technical team

• Support client relationship management for European and US-based accounts

• Manage day-to-day tasks, trackers, and sales support activities using CRM tools and MS Office

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Strong written and spoken English — you will be communicating directly with European and US clients

• 2–3 years of hands-on engineering or technical sales support experience

• Experience in plastics and injection moulding is a strong advantage

• Exposure to Automotive or Medical components manufacturing preferred

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools

• Basic CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)

• Familiarity with AI tools is a plus (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)

• Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
