Job Description – Manager Recruitment (IT Hiring)

Position: Manager – Recruitment (IT)

Experience: 6–10 Years

Location: Gurgaon

Reporting To: Head – Talent Acquisition / Business Head

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Manager – Recruitment to lead end-to-end IT hiring initiatives. The role requires managing a team of recruiters, partnering with business stakeholders, driving recruitment strategy, and ensuring timely closure of technology positions across various levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment for IT and technology roles.
  • Develop and execute hiring strategies to meet business talent requirements.
  • Manage a team of recruiters and ensure achievement of hiring targets and SLAs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans, role requirements, and market trends.
  • Drive sourcing through multiple channels including job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and talent mapping.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and niche technology skills.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics such as TAT, offer-to-join ratio, source effectiveness, and recruiter productivity.
  • Conduct market intelligence, talent benchmarking, and competitor hiring analysis.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Drive process improvements, recruitment automation, and best practices.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular hiring updates.
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of IT hiring across technologies such as Java, .NET, Cloud, Data Engineering, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, DevOps, SAP, Salesforce, and Product Engineering.
  • Expertise in sourcing, screening, assessment, and offer management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
  • Team leadership and people management experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
  • 8–12 years of recruitment experience with at least 4 years in a team management role.
  • Experience in IT staffing, recruitment consulting, RPO, GCC, or corporate talent acquisition environments.

Success Metrics

  • Achievement of hiring targets and SLAs.
  • Time-to-fill and quality-of-hire metrics.
  • Offer-to-join conversion ratio.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Recruiter team productivity and retention.
  • Revenue and delivery performance (for staffing/recruitment consulting organizations).

Preferred Background: Experience managing technology hiring mandates across Product Companies, GCCs, Startups, IT Services, and Digital Transformation organizations
