We specialize in Data Engineering, Applied AI, and Product Engineering, helping fast-growing businesses solve complex product engineering problems.We're looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter who excels at sourcing exceptional talent, leverages AI tools to streamline hiring, and continuously improves the recruitment process through data, introspection, and iteration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Role Definition: Collaborate with hiring managers to clearly define roles and translate them into targeted job descriptions.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Spend the majority of your time building pipelines using advanced and creative sourcing techniques.
  • AI-Driven Recruitment: Leverage AI tools to enhance sourcing, outreach, candidate review, and communication.
  • Assessment Creation: Independently design and manage role-specific assessments using platforms like TestGorilla or similar tools.
  • Assessment Analysis: Monitor performance of assessments, identify drop-offs or mismatches, and suggest changes to improve hiring accuracy.
  • Hiring Retrospectives: Introspect on hiring outcomeswhat worked, what didn'tand continuously adapt the hiring playbook.
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct first-round interviews and represent Wednesday's values, mission, and culture authentically.
  • Process Optimization: Use data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements that scale with the company.
  • Hiring Calendar: Build and maintain a recruitment calendar aligned with team needs and company goals.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on key hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and conversion rates.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technical recruitment, ideally in startups or fast-paced service environments.
  • Proven sourcing expertise across platforms and channels; sourcing should be your primary focus.
  • Strong experience using AI and automation tools to improve recruiting workflows.
  • Ability to independently create and manage assessments and iterate based on performance.
  • Deep understanding of technical roles, programming languages, and developer tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized and self-driven.
