Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter / Engineering Recruiter to join our US Staffing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience recruiting IT and engineering professionals for the US market, with proven skills in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for US-based IT and engineering positions.
- Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, job boards, internal databases, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Review resumes and conduct initial technical and behavioral screening.
- Understand job requirements and identify candidates who closely match client needs.
- Recruit for positions across Software Engineering, Data, Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, Networking, QA, Cybersecurity, and other technical domains.
- Work with candidates on W2, C2C, 1099, and other applicable employment arrangements.
- Verify candidate availability, work authorization, location, compensation expectations, and relevant experience.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and clients.
- Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity in the ATS/CRM.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the interview and onboarding process.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified technical candidates.
- Meet daily and weekly submission, interview, and placement targets.
- Maintain professional communication with candidates, vendors, and internal teams.
- Stay updated on US staffing practices, technical skills, market trends, and recruiting tools.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in US IT Staffing / Technical Recruitment / Engineering Recruitment.
- Strong understanding of the US recruitment lifecycle.
- Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, job boards, and recruitment databases.
- Good understanding of technical roles and IT skills.
- Strong candidate screening and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Chennai during the US night shift.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with US clients, MSPs, VMS platforms, and staffing vendors.
- Knowledge of W2, C2C, and 1099 hiring models.
- Experience using ATS/CRM systems such as Ceipal, JobDiva, Bullhorn, or similar platforms.
- Experience recruiting for highly specialized engineering and technology positions.
- Proven track record of meeting recruitment targets.
