Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Technical Recruiter with 23 years of experience in US IT staffing to join our India office. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience sourcing, screening, and placing technical talent across US markets, working closely with account managers and hiring teams to deliver high-quality pipelines in a fast-paced environment. This role requires onsite presence and night-shift alignment with US business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full recruitment life cycle for US clientssourcing, screening, qualifying, submitting, scheduling interviews, negotiating rates, and onboarding.
- Source candidates for contract, C2C, W2, C2H, and full-time openings using job portals, ATS tools, LinkedIn, internal database, and networking.
- Work closely with US Account Managers/Vendors to understand role requirements and hiring priorities.
- Conduct detailed technical and cultural fit assessments to ensure candidate alignment.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for commonly recruited skill sets (Java, .NET, DevOps, Cloud, Data Engineering, QA/SDET, Cybersecurity, etc.).
- Manage rate negotiation, candidate coordination, and interview feedback.
- Maintain accurate activity records in ATS, tracker sheets, and compliance forms.
- Follow US hiring guidelines including immigration/visa types (USC, GC, H1B, TN, OPT, CPT, EAD, etc.).
- Support onboarding steps including background verification, paperwork follow-ups, reference checks, and start date confirmations.
- Drive daily submission and hiring targets while working collaboratively with team leads.
Required Skills & Experience
- 23 years of US IT recruitment/staffing experience
- Strong understanding of US hiring models (C2C, W2, 1099), time zones, tax terms, and compliance
- Working knowledge of Common US visas (H1B, GC, USC, EAD, TN, OPT/STEM OPT, etc.)
- Hands-on experience sourcing through Dice, CareerBuilder, Monster, Indeed, LinkedIn, ATS/CRM, and networking channels
- Good understanding of technical roles and skill stacks (Cloud, DevOps, Java, .NET, QA, Data Engineering, ERP, Salesforce, Networking, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written English)
- Ability to multitask, deliver under timelines, and meet submission/placement targets
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an onsite US recruitment/staffing environment
- Experience coordinating directly with US Vendor Managers, HR, and project teams
- Understanding of VMS tools (e.g., Beeline, Fieldglass)
- Candidate who has previously worked US night shifts
