About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Technical Account Manager (TAM) to manage and support enterprise-level IT infrastructure for our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of IT systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable business insights.
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Understanding:
- Gain a holistic understanding of clients IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, Backup/Recovery, Security and cloud environments.
- Work closely with internal and client IT teams to document and map current infrastructure setups.
- Architecture Documentation:
- Design and create enterprise-level IT architecture diagrams using Microsoft Visio (or similar tools).
- Maintain up-to-date architecture documentation for each assigned account.
- Infrastructure Health Reviews:
- Analyze and review IT infrastructure health reports from monitoring tools or manual audits.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, risks, and vulnerabilities.
- Prepare summary reports and presentations on overall infrastructure health.
- Recommendations and Upgrades:
- Recommend suitable infrastructure upgrades, performance optimizations, or modernizations based on health assessments.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Act as a single point of contact for clients regarding their technical infrastructure.
- Translate technical findings into business-friendly communication and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics / or related discipline.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components servers, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio (mandatory) for creating professional architecture diagrams.
- Ability to analyze IT health reports and derive actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with monitoring and reporting tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
- Basic understanding of security compliance and IT governance frameworks.
