About the Team
Varahe Tech is consolidating engineering resources into a unified team structure that systematically
integrates AI/LLM capabilities across the organization. We're seeking a Technical Project Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our engineering team.
You'll own the project roadmap, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure seamless delivery across specialized pods of Data & Scraping Infrastructure, Automation & Workflows, and Platform & Internal Tools. This is a critical founding role where you'll establish processes, drive execution, and bridge technical teams with relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Roadmap & Planning: Own the engineering roadmap, lead sprint planning, establish PRD templates, and balance competing priorities across pods
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as primary interface between engineering and business teams facilitate requirements gathering and manage expectations
- Delivery Management: Drive on-time, high-quality project delivery; monitor health metrics, resolve blockers, and run effective sprint ceremonies
- Process Implementation: Establish scalable engineering processes, implement project tracking systems, and build operational excellence
Technical Proficiency
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices
- Ability to participate meaningfully in technical discussions and understand code
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps
- Understanding of AI/LLM technologies and practical applications
- Comfortable with GitHub, project management tools, and development workflows
Communication & Leadership
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and business audiences
- Ability to influence without authority and build consensus
- Skilled at translating technical constraints into business implications
- Experience facilitating meetings and driving cross-functional decisions
Education, Experience & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
- Engineering Collaboration: 2+ years working directly with engineering teams building complex systems
- Relevant Projects: Experience managing projects involving data infrastructure, APIs, or AI/ML systems
- Delivery Track Record: Proven history of shipping products/projects on schedule with high quality
Essential Technical Skills
- Can engage in architecture discussions and evaluate engineering proposals
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java) and SQL.
- Proficient with Jira/Linear, Confluence/Notion, GitHub, Slack, Google Workspace
- Understanding of technical tradeoffs and ability to assess complexity
