What is the work

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise software development projects from requirement gathering and planning through development, deployment, and post-production support.
• Manage multiple cross-functional development teams working on Java-based applications and enterprise software projects.
• Define project scope, milestones, timelines, resource requirements, dependencies, and delivery plans.
• Manage projects using Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Conduct and coordinate Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Work closely with Product Owners, clients, business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track project progress, sprint performance, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall project health.
• Identify project risks and bottlenecks early and implement appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
• Prepare and share project status reports, dashboards, delivery updates, and management reports with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage project resources, team capacity, allocation, priorities, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate release planning, deployment activities, production releases, and post-production stabilization.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Use ClickUp for project planning, task management, sprint tracking, team coordination, and project reporting.
• Coordinate with technical teams on architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, cloud, CI/CD, and other technical dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, development processes, team productivity, and Agile practices.
• Manage client communication and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct project reviews, document lessons learned, and implement process improvements.
• Mentor and guide project and development teams while maintaining a collaborative and high-performance working environment.
• Support digital transformation and AI-enabled initiatives where applicable.
• Manage geographically distributed/offshore-onshore teams and coordinate work across different locations and time zones.
• Ensure appropriate project documentation, governance, quality processes, and compliance requirements are followed.

What skills and experience are we looking for

• 8'12 years of overall professional experience, with strong experience in software development and technical project management.
• Strong hands-on technical background with Java-based technologies and practical understanding of software engineering processes.
• Experience managing software development projects primarily based on Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, JavaScript, REST APIs, and Docker .
• Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
• Proven experience managing Agile projects using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Sprint Planning, Backlog Management, Estimation, Release Planning, and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed software development teams.
• Practical experience with ClickUp or similar project/task management platforms.
• Working knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git/GitHub , and DevOps practices.
• Good understanding of Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to understand technical discussions and effectively communicate between development teams, business stakeholders, and clients.
• Experience working with international clients, preferably across Europe, North America, or APAC .
• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives and enterprise-scale software projects.
• Exposure to AI-powered solutions, Generative AI, or AI-enabled software projects will be an advantage.
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture, DevOps, enterprise application architecture, and modern software development practices.
• Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline .
• Experience with enterprise governance, quality standards, compliance, and project documentation will be preferred.
• CSM/PSM, PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or AWS certification will be an added advantage.
