A Technical Project Manager oversees various aspects of projects within the retail sector, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of total experience preferably in Retail/E-commerce/Supply chain Domains/OMS. (Mandatory)
- Any OMS/WMS/Ecommerce/Supply chain experience. (Nice to have)
- Strong Project Management Skills.
- Good knowledge of SQL and Databases.
- Good knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
Job Description:
- Ability to do Account mining, work on growth strategy etc.
- Ability to perform project planning and scheduling, manage tasks and coordinate project resources to meet objectives and timelines.
- Ability to work with business and technology subject matter experts to assess requirements, define scope, create estimates, and produce project charters.
- Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies is a pre-requisite.
- Responsible for multiple project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress reports, quality, and reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, methodologies, and tools, ensuring ongoing optimization and innovation in project delivery.
- Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
- Awareness of latest technologies and trends.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Develop supporting documentation and materials including demonstrations, presentations, and other tools to ensure solutions are easy to manage and repeatable.
- Provide technical and other guidance as required to the team and assess the performance of the associates.
- Ensure high customer connect for the project, building processes for all relevant team members to engage with the customer.
- Define and track KPIs to measure project success and regularly report progress to stakeholders.
- Ability to build proposals (RFPs) for new clients.
- Lead the development of proposals for retail projects, leveraging your expertise to craft compelling solutions that address client requirements and demonstrate value.
- Participate in recruitment process of technical resources.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure that project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality.
