Job Description

As Project Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional projects focused on new product development, product enhancements, and lifecycle management activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams and gain hands-on experience in managing technical projects from concept through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution, and tracking of technical projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Marketing, Quality & Regulatory, Operations, Procurement, Customer Support, and Technical Publications.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and resource tracking using project management tools.
  • Consolidate inputs from hardware, software, and other functional teams to build and maintain integrated project plans.
  • Create project status reports, dashboards, presentations, and metrics for leadership reviews.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Gantt Charts, risk registers, and action trackers.
  • Monitor project milestones and help ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and support mitigation planning.
  • Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders and support effective communication across teams.
  • Assist in managing product lifecycle activities, design changes, and innovation projects.
  • Support project governance processes and ensure compliance with organizational and quality requirements.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and modern project management practices to improve team productivity and project outcomes.
  • Foster positive working relationships within cross-functional teams and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) CertificationOR
  • Master's degree in project management, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, R&D, engineering, product development, or related areas.
  • Internship, academic projects, or industry exposure in technical project environments will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel (Pivot Tables, Charts), PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of product development processes and engineering lifecycle concepts is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations, quality systems, or design controls is a plus.
  • Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
