Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Salesforce Technical Project Manager who can effectively bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Salesforce Administration, project delivery, business analysis, and data migration initiatives.
This role requires a professional who can understand high-level business requirements, convert them into detailed user stories and actionable tasks, and drive end-to-end execution across Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
The candidate should have strong experience managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. A strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem capabilities, Agile methodologies, and enterprise-level project execution is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce project execution including planning, requirement gathering, implementation, testing, deployment, and support
- Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
- Collaborate with internal business teams, technical architects, developers, QA teams, and external stakeholders
- Drive Agile project execution through sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release management
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and transformation goals
- Analyze high-level business requirements and translate them into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
- Conduct workshops, requirement sessions, and process discussions with business users
- Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical implementation
- Define and document process flows, solution approaches, and functional specifications
Salesforce Administration
- Perform hands-on Salesforce Administration activities including:
- User and access management
- Roles, profiles, and permission sets
- Workflow rules and process automation
- Validation rules and approval processes
- Reports and dashboards
- Data management and security configurations
- Support ongoing platform enhancements and optimization initiatives
- Ensure platform governance and adherence to Salesforce best practices
Data Migration & Integration
- Lead and support data migration initiatives including:
- Data mapping
- Data cleansing and transformation
- Data validation and reconciliation
- Migration planning and execution
- Coordinate with technical teams for seamless migration from legacy systems to Salesforce
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout migration activities
- Support integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems where required
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Coordinate with developers, admins, QA teams, and vendors to ensure smooth execution
- Facilitate decision-making discussions and resolve project roadblocks proactively
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on Salesforce best practices and delivery approaches
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of overall experience in Salesforce project delivery and project management
- Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Administration
- Proven experience managing Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Migration activities and tools
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Experience creating user stories, BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and functional documentation
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce Certified Administrator certification preferred
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools
- Exposure to Salesforce integrations and APIs is a plus
- Experience working with enterprise clients and large-scale transformation programs
- Knowledge of release management and change management processes
