About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager cum Engineering Manager to lead complex, enterprise-grade technology programs across cloud, full-stack development, and digital transformation initiatives. This is a dual-role requiring deep technical expertise in backend and frontend technologies, combined with strong program governance, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities.
You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of strategic programs, managing cross-functional engineering teams, and driving innovation through modern technology stacks and Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Leadership
- Architect and oversee development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using .NET Core, Java, React/Angular, Web APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Lead cloud-native application development and migration on Azure/AWS, leveraging services like AKS, App Services, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- Drive adoption of DevSecOps, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and security best practices
Program & Project Management
- Lead multi-million-dollar programs with full ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Implement Agile/SAFe methodologies across distributed teams; facilitate PI planning, sprint ceremonies, and release planning
- Define and track KPIs, OKRs, and DORA metrics to drive delivery excellence
- Manage risk, compliance (HIPAA, GDPR), and change control in regulated environments (BFSI, Healthcare, Insurance)
People & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (30+ engineers) across geographies
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and C-level stakeholders to align technology with business goals
- Drive talent development, performance management, and succession planning
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering and technical project/program management
- Proven track record in .NET/Java full-stack development, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and Agile delivery
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, and API management
- Hands-on experience in leading large-scale digital transformation and cloud migration programs and experienced on fixed bid projects
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting skills
Preferred Certifications:
- PMP, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile certifications
- Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud Certifications
- Generative AI or AI/ML exposure (preferred but not mandatory)
