In this context, AMI has partnered with Google Cloud to build the People Empowerment Platform (PEP), aimed at connecting underserved Indian citizens to the right government welfare schemes and sources of income.

About the Role

The Product & Technology Officer will

· Own Product Vision and Strategy: Partner the Founder/CMD and the business team to develop, refine and own the platform technology strategy to take it from the current MVP stage to commercialization stage.

· Lead delivery of a holistic solution to customers (government ministries) across all citizen touchpoints – smartphones, feature phones and a tech enabled field force.

· Build and lead an in-house team for development, AI led solutioning and secure 3rd party integrations.

● Multilingual Accessibility: Built to operate seamlessly in 13 Indian languages, ensuring information and services are available to a wider demographic.

● Voice-Enabled Interactions: Designed for intuitive voice inputs, making the platform accessible to users with varying levels of literacy.

● Powered by AI: Leverages Google Cloud's infrastructure, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and generative AI capabilities to provide personalized insights and recommendations tailored to the specific needs of individuals and families.

● Captive call center: For feature phone users

● Phygital by design: Field force to enable last mile delivery of services.

Experience

● 10+ years of experience

● Experience of leading in-house technology teams or vendors

● As a Product and Technology Officer, the candidate needs to have a understanding of technology, customer and product needs. The ability to effectively communicate with technology specialists as well as the ability to leverage the core competencies of the technical team would be critical.

● During the product lifecycle, the candidate must make decisions related to personnel, tools, design, new capabilities, and technical aspects collaboratively with other business functions.

● Experience with Google Cloud is good to have.
