Technical Project Manager AD with Domain Hardening

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and manage Active Directory domain structures, forest architecture, and trust relationships
• Implement and maintain Group Policies to enforce security and operational standards
• Manage users, groups, and permissions including security and distribution groups
• Configure Active Directory Sites and Services to optimize replication and performance
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for Active Directory databases
• Integrate on-premises Active Directory with Entra (Azure AD) using Azure AD Connect
• Manage Azure AD identities, roles, permissions, and identity lifecycle processes
• Implement and manage Conditional Access policies and Multi-Factor Authentication
• Secure identities using Azure AD Identity Protection and best practices
• Design and support Azure AD B2B and B2C identity management solutions
• Plan and implement high-availability and secure AD and hybrid identity architectures
• Design and manage ADFS solutions for Single Sign-On
• Monitor, audit, and secure Domain Controllers and directory services
• Lead migrations from on-premises AD to Azure AD and hybrid identity models
• Upgrade and decommission legacy Active Directory infrastructure
• Automate identity and directory operations using PowerShell scripting
• Use Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to manage Azure AD configurations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align identity architecture with business needs
• Create and maintain documentation including architecture diagrams and disaster recovery plans

Job Requirements

• Strong expertise in Active Directory domain, forest, and trust design
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) identity and access management
• Experience implementing Conditional Access, MFA, and identity protection
• Proven experience with hybrid identity, migrations, and cloud-based identity solutions
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform
• Strong understanding of IAM, security principles, and compliance requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders
• Strong documentation and communication skills
