About Position

We are seeking a proactive, organized, and experienced individual with excellent customer service and project management skills to join the Professional Services team. Your customer-facing role will include being responsible for providing coordination and administrative support for midsize-to-large engagements. You will be responsible for project initiation, setting customer expectations, facilitating handoffs between internal resources, managing project communications, monitoring project progress, and driving projects to successful completion.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with new and existing enterprise customers in a technical project coordination capacity.
  • Coordinate and facilitate planning and working meetings.
  • Track and manage project progress, project risks and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate hand-offs between assigned technical Proofpoint resources.
  • Field customer inquiries and act as a point of contact for project teams.
  • Document customer priorities and requirements.
  • Assess project complexity and escalate where needed.
  • Act as secondary project resource with Senior or Principal TPMs on large, complex engagements.
  • Work collaboratively with Professional Services management to ensure successful delivery of customer engagements.
  • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency.

Expertise You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in Professional Services.
  • Experience in working with multiple customers and have an aptitude for managing changing priorities
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and organization skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and enhance cooperative working relationships.
  • Adaptable and flexible work style to accommodate working with several different customers at once
  • Conflict resolution skills - this job entails working with a variety of people and personalities.
  • Aptitude for technical learning.
  • Knowledge of project management fundamentals and process design.
  • Basic knowledge of internet products and technologies.
  • CAPM or PMP or other Project Management certification a plus.
