Technical Program Manager - Software & Embedded Systems

Responsibilities:

● Drive multiple portfolios, working cross-functionally with product manager, designers, software

development team, business operations, marketing, legal and external partners across organizations to

guarantee a smooth and efficient product delivery.

● Defines and implements cross-team processes to improve efficiency and delivery (SDLC), defines metrics

to measure and monitor efficiency and effectiveness of the processes and drives adoption across

organizations.

● Has the right balance of technical, project management and business/product acumen and manages

delivery across SDLC serving as a single point of contact.

● Handle multiple competing and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

● Manages stakeholders from different cross functional teams by setting expectations and providing

frequent program/project updates.

● Implements Agile methods like Scrum and Kanban throughout the entire software and cloud development

process using Tools such as JIRA

● Facilitates all Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives,

and backlog refinement.

● Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices, self-organization, and continuous

improvement.

● Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with product owners, stakeholders, and

technical teams and develop comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, and schedules

● Monitors and tracks complex programs effectively by providing periodic updates to technical, non-technical teams and Sr. Management

Academic Qualification:

● B. Tech

Relevant Experience:

● 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role and at least 2 years of delivery/project/program management experience in product-based organization

Tech Skills:

● Understands the technical designs of the multiple projects and programs he/she is managing. Has deeper

understanding of specific sub-systems and possess ability to drive technical discussions if needed.

● Experience in managing embedded systems development

● Experience in managing deliverables from multiple vendors

● Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies; Has ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This includes excellent listening skills, concise

communications and targeting the message to specific audiences

● Experienced working in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.

● Experienced in delivering HMI/OS, Vehicle ECU components

● Experienced in delivering solutions like Automotive OTA for Vehicle SW and Configurations

● Should have working knowledge on EOL and manufacturing processes

● Working knowledge of CAN, UDS, vehicle architecture and mobile applications

● Experience managing cloud-specific project, including cloud migration strategies, cost optimization, security considerations, and compliance requirements is desirable.
