Job Description

Sagility is a trusted partner for healthcare operations transformation, helping organizations unlock value across complex healthcare workflows. With more than 25 years of healthcare domain expertise, Sagility combines deep operational knowledge with AI-enabled technology and intelligent automation to improve efficiency, strengthen decision-making, and elevate experiences for members, patients, providers, and stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem.

Sagility's capabilities span end-to-end healthcare operations, including claims administration, payment integrity, clinical and care management support, member and provider engagement, revenue cycle services, and advanced analytics. Today, nearly 50,000 specialists, clinicians, technologists, and operations professionals support healthcare organizations globally through trusted collaboration and technology-led transformation.

The Bhive Director is the operational and strategic owner of the Bhive platform — Sagility's digital engagement backbone for 35,000 frontline associates across five geographies. Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Applications, this role carries end-to-end accountability across product delivery, quality, rollout and adoption, and ongoing platform support.

This is a high-visibility leadership position at the intersection of technology, operations, and people experience. Looking ahead, the Bhive Director will own the development and execution of an AI-first product roadmap — embedding intelligent features into the platform to drive deeper engagement, smarter adoption insights, and richer associate experiences.

The ideal candidate is semi-technical: able to engage credibly with engineers on platform architecture, AI integrations, and infrastructure decisions, while also operating effectively at the Ops and HR leadership level. They build bridges, not just reports.

Scope & Accountability

The Bhive Director leads three functional teams and is accountable for the full lifecycle of the platform:

Product Engineering

Platform build, architecture, AI-first roadmap (V5 → V5.1 → V5.2), and technical standards

Rollout & Adoption Readiness

35,000-user rollout across India, US, Philippines, Jamaica and Colombia; hypercare; adoption guarantee

Implementation & Support

Release validation, UAT, infrastructure; and post-rollout platform support, uptime, and sustained adoption

Key Responsibilities:

AI-First Product Roadmap

  • Own the development of Bhive's AI-first product roadmap for the next 12–18 months
  • Identify high-impact AI use cases within the platform — personalized nudges, smart adoption alerts, AI-assisted content, predictive engagement scoring
  • Work with Engineering Lead and Consulting Architect to evaluate and integrate AI capabilities (LLMs, recommendation engines, analytics co-pilots) into the platform
  • Ensure AI features are grounded in adoption data and aligned with frontline associate experience needs
  • Define guardrails for responsible AI use within the platform — accuracy, bias, transparency

Program Governance

  • Own end-to-end delivery accountability across all three functional teams
  • Maintain program health — schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder alignment
  • Report program status to the VP, Enterprise Applications; flag risks and escalate decisions promptly
  • Ensure clean handover gates between Engineering, Rollout, and Support with no communication gaps

Technical Leadership

  • Engage credibly with engineering on platform architecture, Azure infrastructure, API integrations, and release decisions
  • Review and challenge technical proposals — not to code, but to ask the right questions and pressure-test decisions
  • Oversee the Workday and ecosystem integrations that feed into Bhive's data layer
  • Ensure platform performance, security, and scalability standards are defined and met

Rollout & Adoption

  • Oversee the phased rollout to 35,000 associates; hold accountability for activation targets per account
  • Ensure the Implementation & Support Lead is present in all stakeholder discussions during rollout — no communication gaps at transition
  • Track and confirm adoption guarantees per account before transitioning to steady-state support

Stakeholder Management

  • Primary interface between Bhive and senior stakeholders across Ops, HR, and IT
  • Manage geo leads and account-level relationships across all five geographies
  • Lead monthly program reviews and present adoption and AI roadmap progress to VP and leadership

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop three functional team leads (Engineering, Rollout, Implementation & Support)
  • Build a high-performance, accountable team culture with clear KRAs and growth paths
  • Drive open hiring — including the Support Manager role — to full team strength

Experience

  • 8–12 years in technology product management or program leadership, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role
  • Demonstrated experience building or integrating AI / ML capabilities into enterprise products not just exposure, but ownership
  • Proven track record managing large-scale digital rollouts to distributed, frontline or deskless workforces
  • Hands-on enough to review architecture decisions and challenge technical trade-offs, without needing to write code
  • Familiarity with Azure, API-led integration patterns, and enterprise platforms (Workday or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience managing multi-geography programs and cross-functional teams

Technical Depth (Semi-Technical Profile)

This role does not require coding ability. It does require the ability to:

  • Read and reason about system architecture diagrams, API contracts, and data flow documentation
  • Evaluate AI/ML vendor proposals and distinguish genuine capability from marketing claims
  • Understand infrastructure concepts — cloud hosting, uptime SLAs, deployment pipelines — well enough to hold Engineering accountable
  • Translate technical constraints into business trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders

Capabilities

  • AI-literate — understands LLMs, recommendation systems, and analytics co-pilots at a conceptual and applied level
  • Strong program governance — holds delivery accountability across parallel workstreams without micromanaging
