We are building the next generation of AI-driven products and platforms, and we are looking for high-ownership Technical Program Managers to help drive Phenom's most critical engineering initiatives.
About The Role
As a Technical Program Manager in Phenom's Engineering organization, you will work closely with the Head of Engineering and senior leadership to drive the company's most strategic initiatives (Big Bets).
This is a high-impact role focused on solving complex, ambiguous problems and driving execution across multiple engineering teams. You will operate at the intersection of engineering, product, data, and business to ensure our most critical initiatives are successfully delivered.
This role is ideal for individuals with a hands-on engineering background, strong problem-solving ability, leadership potential, and a passion for building AI-driven products at scale.
What You Will Do
- Drive strategic engineering initiatives from concept to execution and measurable impact
- Partner with engineering leaders, product managers, and architects to define execution plans and technical roadmaps
- Translate ambiguous business or technical problems into structured plans and actionable milestones
- Coordinate across multiple engineering teams to drive alignment, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery
- Track progress, risks, and dependencies, and communicate updates to senior leadership
- Establish effective execution mechanisms, operating cadence, and program visibility
- Work closely with leadership on initiatives involving AI, platform, infrastructure, and product innovation
- Help scale Phenom's engineering execution capability as the company grows
What We Are Looking For
- Hands-on software development or engineering background, with the ability to engage credibly on architecture, system design, and technical trade-offs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking ability
- Ability to work in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

- Ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent engineering degree
- 2–6 years of experience with demonstrated hands-on software development, engineering, or technical program management
- Working knowledge of software development lifecycle, system architecture, and technical execution
- Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-team technical initiatives
Preferred Background
- Engineering degree from top institutions such as IIT, NIT, BITS, or IIIT
- MBA from top institutions such as ISB, IIMs, or other leading business schools, in addition to a hands-on engineering background
- Experience in engineering, product, technical consulting, or program management roles
- Exposure to technology, AI, platforms, or digital products
- Demonstrated leadership potential and strong execution ability
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or data platforms
- Experience working in product companies, startups, or consulting
- Familiarity with Agile, engineering workflows, or technical delivery environments
