Manage a global data center design and construction team and scope related to construction or capital improvement projects at the facilities.
Develop detailed designs, manage construction, commissioning, close-out and hand-off to operations. Ensure all customer requirements are met.
Establish and maintain delivery models and relationships with vendors and contractors, using appropriate metrics and measuring results.
Create a growth plan and be involved in hiring/recruiting of talent in the areas of project management, field engineering, document control, technical writing, etc.
Communicate with internal business partners to collect plans, drivers and deadlines for initiating build projects and mobilizing contractors. Create high-level project plans that identify resource needs and critical path.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in program management.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with data center design, construction and operations.
Experience managing vendor relationships and agreements.
Knowledge of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems.
Understanding of startup/commissioning processes and standard practices in the design and construction industry.
