Technical Program Manager

Responsibility

Interface with all teams like product, operation, other engineering teams, engineering managers, tech leads, gather requirements and coordinate within your assigned team of tech lead, engineering manager and developers to drive delivery of various tasks. Drive evaluation of technical solutions and recommend the best solution to meet business requirements.

Gather requirements from business development teams, product owners and other TPM followed by detail scoping and sprint planning (including but not limited to capacity planning, help in resource allocation per task, effort estimation, organizing demos, preparing release plans, capturing details related to releases and measuring effectiveness of new releases)

Manage, prioritize, build solutions for all technical issues, decide what all to be taken up in a sprint and maintain a healthy backlog. Track progress towards goals and enable visibility of statuses to product, business development and technical leadership teams.

Be a guardian of world-class customer experience; continually raise the bar on functionality, flow,

scalability, usability, and simplicity.

Provide analysis and recommendation of trade-offs to ship product without compromising customer experience and minimize business risks

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

5-9 yearsmanaging large, complex, cross-functional technical programs

2+ years as either a SDE/Developer or a Development Project/Program Manager

Experience in understanding distributed systems and designing large scale web applications

Experience working across time zones with remote teams and external partners

Well versed in agile/iterative development methodologies

Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to think clearly, analyse quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize

Total experience required is 5-9yrs

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

Advanced Excel, Visio, MS Project

Scrum master and PMP Certification
