Technical Professional - Instrumentation/Controls

The Technical Professional – Instrumentation/Controls supports instrumentation and control engineering activities for industrial projects. The role focuses on instrument specification, data management, procurement support, and technical evaluation to ensure high-quality engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instrument index, IO lists, and instrument datasheets
• Develop Material Requisitions (MRs) for procurement of instrumentation and control equipment
• Conduct technical bid evaluations and provide recommendations for instrument selection
• Ensure instrumentation and control deliverables comply with project specifications, standards, and client requirements
• Support SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation) or equivalent instrumentation engineering tools for design and documentation
• Collaborate with project engineering teams to ensure consistent and accurate instrument design data
• Assist in reviewing vendor submittals and technical documentation
• Support instrumentation and control engineering tasks from FEED through detailed design phases

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or allied Engineering
• 7 to 15 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control engineering
• Hands-on experience in SPI or similar instrumentation engineering software
• Knowledge of instrumentation specification, datasheets, and Material Requisition processes
