Technical Product Owner (Architect)
Supplier Onboarding | Apex Analytix & SAP S/4HANA
Role Summary
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner (Architect) to lead the architecture and integration design for one of our customer's global Supplier Onboarding platforms (Apex Analytix). This role sits at the intersection of product, architecture, and enterprise integration, owning the end-to-end technical vision while partnering closely with SAP S/4HANA, MDG, and Procurement teams.
This is a hands-on leadership role, not a development position. You will define how systems work together, guide vendors and developers, and ensure scalable, compliant supplier onboarding across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Architecture Ownership
- Act as the technical owner for the Apex Analytix supplier onboarding platform
- Define and maintain the target-state architecture for supplier onboarding and master data
- Own integration patterns, data flows, and system boundaries between Apex and SAP S/4HANA
Integration Design & Governance
- Design end-to-end supplier data integrations from Apex into SAP S/4HANA and MDG
- Lead data mapping, transformation logic, and validation rules
- Partner with SAP teams to ensure clean handoffs and aligned ownership
- Ensure integrations meet security, compliance, and scalability standards
Delivery Leadership
- Translate business and compliance requirements into clear technical designs
- Guide development teams and vendors without micromanaging
- Review designs, integration specs, and solution approaches
- Identify risks early and proactively drive mitigation
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary technical interface between:
- Procurement business teams
- Apex Analytix vendor
- SAP S/4 / MDG teams
- Systems integrators
- Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and decision forums
- Drive alignment across distributed global teams
Change & Continuity
- Support knowledge transfer from the outgoing resource
- Contribute to long-term platform roadmap and evolution
- Ensure solutions are future-ready for regulatory and business change
Required Qualifications
Core Experience
- 8+ years in enterprise application architecture or technical product ownership
- Strong experience with supplier onboarding or supplier lifecycle management platforms
- Proven experience designing integrations with SAP S/4HANA
- Experience working in large, regulated enterprise environments
Strongly Preferred
- SAP Ariba SLP (Supplier Lifecycle & Performance) experience
- Exposure to Master Data Governance (MDG)
- Experience with cloud-based SaaS integrations
- Familiarity with procurement and vendor master data domains

Estimated Pay Range:
