Technical Product Manager

RESPOSIBILITES:

TransPerfect is seeking a Technical Product Manager to manage and own the product lifecycle for integration frameworks for CMS & e-commerce systems. This position will work with internal development and QA teams and vendor partners to build integrations into GlobalLink - our flagship cloud-based translation management platform. We are looking for forward-thinking professionals who are more interested in how things could become and who can thrive in an evolving and fast-paced environment.

• Manage the entire product life cycle which includes

1.Manage professional services engagements and prepare SOWs for all existing customers

2.Explore product functionality and recommend best strategy to integrate

3.Evaluate APIs and GraphQL endpoints and devise an integration approach

4.Individually carry out product deliveries from inception to product roll out

5.Design/create detailed technical specifications for functional requirements

6.Closely monitor development and QA progress for ontime deliverables

7.Do active review of test strategy

8.Planning continuous upgrades for new feature

9.Collaborate with multiple teams in multiple time zones including product managers, engineers, solutions engineers, QA and customers for product strategy & roadmap

10.Participate in UI/UX design

11.Review Documentation updates

• Analyze application logs and debug technical issues to identify root causes in collaboration with engineering teams
• Perform competitor analysis and benchmarks and ensure that your product is always ahead of the curve

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENC

E:Your experience includes

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant work experience
• 3+ years of experience in a software or technology company
• 2+ years of software product management experience
• Advanced knowledge of all aspects of the software product development lifecycle
• Hands on development experience is an added advantage
• Organize user requirements, user stories and use cases
• Familiar with tools like JIRA for project and requests tracking
• Must have very strong analytical skills and a strategic thinker
• Proven track record of balancing multiple projects at once and delivery of projects successfully on time
• Experienced in working on integrating products using 3rd party API'S
• Experienced with content management systems, e-commerce platforms and headless ecommerce or CMS systems.
• Development experience in any of the following is preferred, but not required: NodeJS, Mongo, Redis, React Java, REST APIs, and microservices architecture

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Big plus if you are:

• Knowledge of Unix commands, SQL and familiarity with MongoDB would be an added advantage
• Familiar with translation and localization domain and translation management systems
