Technical Product Manager:
About the Role:
We're looking for a versatile Product Manager to join our growing hospitality technology company. This isn't your typical PM role—you'll wear multiple hats as we scale, bridging the gap between our customers, sales team, and engineering organization. You'll be as comfortable running a product discovery session with a hotel revenue manager as you are refining user stories with our development team.
If you thrive in dynamic environments, have deep hospitality technology knowledge, and enjoy being close to both customers and product development, this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own and communicate the product vision for our CRS & PMS platforms, balancing customer needs with strategic business objectives
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on market trends, competitive analysis, and customer feedback
- Define success metrics and track product performance against KPIs
Customer Engagement & Discovery
- Lead discovery sessions with prospective and existing customers to understand their reservation, distribution, and revenue management workflows
- Translate customer pain points into actionable product opportunities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hotel operators, helping them maximize value from our platform
- Push back diplomatically on customization requests, guiding customers toward out-of-the-box solutions that meet their needs
Pre-Sales Support
- Partner with the sales team on demos, RFP responses, and technical discussions during the sales cycle
- Articulate product capabilities, roadmap, and competitive differentiation to prospects
- Identify gaps between prospect requirements and current functionality, feeding insights back into product planning
Training & Enablement
- Develop and deliver product training for customers, ensuring successful onboarding and adoption
- Create internal enablement materials for sales and support teams
- Maintain product documentation, release notes, and knowledge base content
Agile Delivery & Engineering Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Product Owner and engineering team to ensure user stories are well-defined, sized, and meet Definition of Ready before each sprint
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and PI planning sessions
- Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria and customer expectations
- Communicate release timelines and feature availability to internal and external stakeholders
What You Bring:
Required
- 4+ years in product management, solutions consulting, or a similar customer-facing role in B2B SaaS
- Direct experience in hospitality technology—CRS, PMS, RMS, channel management, or booking engines
- Strong understanding of hotel distribution (GDS, OTAs, direct booking), rate management, and reservation workflows
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action in a fast-paced, evolving organization
Preferred
- Experience with mid-market or independent hotel segments
- Familiarity with hospitality industry players (TravelClick, SynXis, Pegasus, SHR, etc.)
- Background in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer success
- CSPO, PSPO, or similar Agile certification
Why Join Us
- Opportunity to shape product direction at a pivotal growth stage
- Direct customer interaction and visible impact on product outcomes
- Collaborative, low-ego team culture
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and flexibility
