This is a senior individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of product direction, engineering, and client outcomes.
The role requires turning ambiguity into shipped features while preventing the platform from accumulating invisible debt.
You will serve as the PM layer between the engineering lead and Customer Success (CS), requiring you to earn technical credibility quickly while acting as the product face for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
Product Direction: Own the quarterly roadmap, establish a strict Business Requirement Document (BRD) process for all change requests, and triage client feature requests within 5 business days.
Engineering Management: Manage the tech team directly by enforcing a 1-week sprint cadence, overseeing code reviews, implementing structured deployment processes, and governing bug triage.
Client Engagement: Run product discovery calls with enterprise clients independently, provide feature walkthroughs during onboarding, and estimate timelines and man-days for custom developments.
Knowledge Building: Create institutional memory by documenting architecture, writing integration guides for SSO and HRMS, and maintaining a known issues log.
What You Need To Bring (Requirements)
8–12 years of B2B SaaS product management experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in a technical PM or TPM role.
Proven hands-on experience managing engineers, setting sprint goals, and holding teams accountable to timelines.
Technical fluency enabling you to read code, understand architectures, and grasp API integrations, SSO/SAML, and data pipelines.
Strong UI/UX experience and the ability to provide substantive design feedback using Figma or equivalent tools.
Confidence in managing enterprise-level client relationships and the ability to build functional PM processes from scratch.
A stable tenure demonstrating impact, specifically requiring 2+ years at multiple roles.
