About the Role

We are looking for a highly technical Product Manager who can operate at the intersection of engineering, AI systems, operations, and product execution.

This is not a traditional roadmap-management PM role.

We want someone who can:

• Understand complex technical systems deeply
• Write and review code when needed
• Work directly with engineers and researchers
• Build internal tooling and workflows
• Translate operational pain points into scalable product systems
• Drive execution in a fast-moving AI environment

You will own mission-critical systems powering freelancer operations, workflow orchestration, AI evaluation pipelines, and platform automation.

What You'll Do

• Build and scale internal platforms, automation systems, and operational tooling from scratch.
• Work closely with engineering teams to define technical architecture, APIs, workflows, and system integrations.
• Translate ambiguous operational problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive product execution across AI workflows, annotation systems, evaluation tooling, and agentic pipelines.
• Use metrics, experimentation, and user feedback to improve platform efficiency and user experience.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to prioritize roadmap and execution.
• Write SQL, scripts, or production-grade code where required to unblock teams or prototype solutions quickly.
• Lead high-impact initiatives involving workflow automation, AI tooling, platform reliability, and systems optimization.
• Own execution end-to-end — from identifying problems to shipping solutions.

Who You Are

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in Technical Product Management, Software Engineering, or highly technical operational roles.
• Prior experience in fast-growth startups or high-performance engineering organizations.
• Strong coding background with hands-on software development experience.
• Experience working closely with backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, or AI/ML systems.

Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Golang.
• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.
• Comfortable reading, debugging, and discussing production code with engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with AI products, ML workflows, LLM tooling, or automation systems is a strong plus.

Mindset

• High agency and ownership mentality.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and high-pressure environments.
• Strong execution orientation — ability to move quickly without constant direction.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Builder mindset: willing to get hands-on and solve problems directly.

Preferred Background

• IIT / NIT / BITS / IIIT / top-tier engineering programs preferred.
• Experience working on AI infrastructure, developer platforms, workflow tooling, or operations-tech systems.
• Startup experience strongly preferred.
