About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and execution-oriented Technical Product Manager to build and scale our Credit Platform that powers digital lending products. You will own critical platform capabilities across the lending lifecycle and work closely with Engineering, Risk, Data Science, Operations, Compliance, and Business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable platform services. The ideal candidate combines strong product management skills with technical aptitude and has experience building backend/platform products in fintech or digital lending.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for one or more Credit Platform domains.
- Translate business requirements into scalable platform capabilities and APIs.
- Drive end-to-end product development across areas such as KYC, credit decisioning, fraud detection, repayments, customer management, partner integrations, workflows, and notifications.
- Write PRDs, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Business teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Manage product backlog, sprint planning, releases, and stakeholder communication.
- Define and monitor key product metrics, including conversion, approval rates, turnaround time, platform adoption, and API performance.
- Ensure platform capabilities comply with RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, DPDP Act, and security best practices.
What are we looking for
- 5-8 years of Product Management experience in fintech, lending, banking, payments, or related domains.
- Experience building platform, backend, or API-first products.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, system design, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with digital lending, BNPL, loan origination/management systems, KYC, fraud prevention, credit decisioning, repayments, or regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience in high-growth fintech, NBFC, banking, or embedded finance organizations.
