We are looking for a Presales Engineer specializing in Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions who will support the sales team by providing technical expertise during the sales cycle. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer application security needs, designing WAF solutions, delivering demos, and supporting POCs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements related to web application security.
- Provide technical presales support for Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof of concepts (POC) to prospective clients.
- Design WAF architectures and security solutions based on customer environments.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires.
- Support customers during product evaluation and deployment planning.
- Collaborate with technical, product, and delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation.
- Stay updated on latest web application threats, OWASP vulnerabilities, and security trends.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Cyber Security Presales / Security Engineering.
- Hands-on knowledge of Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies.
- Understanding of web application security threats (OWASP Top 10).
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, web servers, APIs, and application architectures.
- Experience with product demos, solution design, and POCs.
- Good understanding of network security and application security concepts.
- Strong presentation and customer-facing communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with one or more WAF solutions.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, cloud security, or API security is an added advantage.
