Job Title: Technical & Pre-Sales Executive

Location: Karnataka

Department: Solar On-Grid Inverters

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Technical & Pre-Sales Executive for our business across Karnataka. The role involves providing technical assistance, conducting pre-sales consultations, coordinating with customers, and visiting project sites on a case-to-case basis to ensure smooth installation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Pre-Sales

Provide technical guidance and product knowledge to customers, EPCs, and installers

Assist the sales team with technical presentations, solution design, and system sizing.

Review client requirements and recommend the right inverter solutions.

Support in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and system documentation.

Share product data sheets, certifications, and specifications as required.

Customer Interaction & Coordination

Build strong rapport with customers and ensure high levels of technical satisfaction.

Respond to customer queries and provide technical clarifications promptly.

Conduct regular follow-ups on leads, ongoing projects, and installations.

Site Visits & Field Support

Visit installation sites on a case-to-case basis for technical evaluation and support.

Inspect site readiness and ensure compatibility of inverter solutions.

Coordinate with engineers/technicians during commissioning or troubleshooting.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed records of client interactions, technical requirements, and follow-ups.

Update sales & technical data on Excel sheets and internal systems.

Prepare daily/weekly reports on technical activities, site visits, and customer feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/EEE engineering (preferred).

13 years of experience in solar inverter technical support or pre-sales (freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply).

Strong understanding of on-grid solar inverters and PV systems.

Good communication and customer handling skills.

Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently.

Proficiency in Excel and basic documentation.

Willingness to travel within Karnataka for site visits.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience with solar EPCs or inverter companies.

Strong problem-solving attitude.

Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Self-driven with a customer-centric approach.
