Job Title: Technical Pre-Sales Consultant

Location: Chennai Hyderabad Bangalore (Hybrid work model – primarily office-based with flexible options)

Experience: 7 to 10 years

Role Overview

As a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will engage with prospective clients, understand their requirements, and design tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of our offerings. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, communication skills, consultative approach, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with potential and existing clients to gather business and technical requirements

Design, articulate, and present tailored technical solutions aligned with client needs

Collaborate with the sales team to prepare technical proposals RFPs and RFIs

Deliver engaging product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts PoCs to showcase product capabilities

Partner with Product and Engineering teams to align client requirements with product features and roadmaps

Conduct competitive analysis and positioning to highlight solution advantages

Provide seamless post-sales transition support to delivery teams for successful project execution

Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Technical Expertise

Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or consulting roles

Proven experience with cloud platforms – AWS Azure or GCP certifications preferred

Strong knowledge of data platforms such as Snowflake Databricks Cloudera and modern data architectures including data lakes data warehouses and ETL ELT frameworks

Exposure to BI tools Power BI Tableau and AI ML concepts

Familiarity with IT services consulting or system integrator environments

Strong understanding of technical concepts with the ability to translate them into business-friendly language

Consultative and Soft Skills

Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills

Strong consultative and problem-solving abilities

Effective team collaboration and time management skills

Comfortable working under pressure in a dynamic sales environment

Good to Have

Experience in SaaS or cybersecurity domains

Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Familiarity with the Banking and Financial Services FSI industry and regulatory landscapes

Cloud and data certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect Google Cloud Professional Architect or Data Analytics certifications

Precise requirement gathering and mapping to solutions
