We are driving a large-scale, high-impact tokenization transformation program.. We are looking for a Tech Lead – Tokenization to take full ownership of the technical landscape and deliver secure, enterprise-grade solutions.
This is a high-visibility role where you will act as the go-to expert, influencing architecture decisions, driving innovation, and ensuring seamless implementation across critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all tokenization-related technical queries
- Develop deep expertise in tokenization architecture, APIs, encryption, and security protocols
- Analyse business requirements and design secure, scalable technical solutions
- Drive API integrations, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize system performance
- Assess feasibility and integration readiness across multiple WMIS applications
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners (BNP Paribas Switzerland)
- Define and support the tokenization roadmap and phased rollout strategy
- Guide development teams through implementation, code reviews, testing, and deployment
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (GDPR, DORA, etc.)
- Identify and mitigate risks such as performance bottlenecks and data security issues
- Support UAT, production deployment, and post-go-live activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience in software engineering, system integration, or data security within enterprise environments
- Demonstrated expertise in API architecture, encryption, tokenization, and data protection strategies
- Strong experience working in large-scale, mission-critical banking or financial systems
- Ability to quickly master complex architectures and drive end-to-end technical ownership
- Proven track record of solving high-impact, complex technical challenges under pressure
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern DevOps practices
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, compliance (GDPR, DORA), and enterprise risk management
- Strong leadership presence with ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives
