Job Description Technical Partner Manager (12 15 years experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology partners, including vendors, ISVs (Independent Software Vendors), and other key stakeholders.
Strategic Alignment:
Ensure that technology partnerships align with the company's strategic goals and business objectives.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through joint engagements with partners, driving sales conversion.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with partners, including co-marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and joint customer engagements.
Solution Development:
Coordinate the development of joint solutions, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability.
Partner Enablement:
Provide partners with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively sell or integrate the company's products or services.
Performance Monitoring:
Evaluate the effectiveness of partner relationships and engagements, tracking key metrics to ensure ROI.
Communication and Collaboration:
Act as the central point of contact and advocate for partners, facilitating communication and collaboration across internal teams.
Negotiation:
Negotiate partnership agreements that are mutually beneficial.
Technical Partner Manager:
Works closely with partners on technical aspects, ensuring seamless implementation and integration of services
Strategic Technology Partner Manager:
Develops and leads the overall strategy for technology partnerships, focusing on long-term relationships.
Global Technology Partner Manager:
Manages relationships with technology partners across multiple geographies, often aligned with specific strategic initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, and negotiate effectively.
- Technical Understanding: Deep understanding of the partnership models of top insurance vendors (such as Guidewire, Duck Creek and Majesco) is a must and alongside Knowledge of APIs, software architecture, and other relevant technical concepts along with technical understanding of Platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP will be an advantage.
- Business Acumen: Business Acumen: Very strong understanding of business principles and strategies within the Insurance industry, should have strong business knowledge on both Life, Property and Casualty Insurance areas will be an advantage.
- Sales Management and Business Development Experience: Proven ability to identify, qualify, and close business opportunities will be an added advantage
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise in partnerships. Identifying and highlighting any potential risks/issues/dependencies is a key skill for this role.
