Technical Officer

Job Title:- Applications are invited for the post of Technical Officer (03 Posts) at Plant Breeding Section. The application should be submitted in the PRESCRIBED APPLICATION FORMAT which is available on VSI website. Job profile:- 1. To Conduct, Research, Production, Extension and Developmental Activity in concerned subject. 2. Supervise the work of sub-ordinate staff. 3. To Supervise and attempting Breeding program at Sugarcane Breeder Research Station, Amboli. 4. To prepare research reports and improve Sugarcane breeding activities. 5. To conduct & planning regarding Nucleus Seed Production activities.

Qualification:- M.Sc. (Agri.) / Ph. D. in Plant Breeding and Cytogenetics

Terms & Conditions:- These posts are purely on temporary contractual basis for a period of 11 months. TA or DA will be not given to the candidates appear for interview by the Institute.
