The Role
We are looking for a Technical Marketing Manager to lead collateral development, key customer support, and roadmap planning for the Vitis toolchain. This role will work closely with engineering, product management, and sales to drive adoption and ensure our toolchain meets market needs.
As the bridge between technology and marketing, you will craft compelling technical content, support strategic customers, and provide insights to shape the product roadmap.
The Person
You are a technically strong communicator with experience in software toolchains, complex embedded system design, or AI acceleration. You have a passion for developer enablement, enjoy distilling complex topics into clear messaging, and thrive in a role that combines customer interaction, technical marketing, and product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical collateral
- Create tutorials, presentations, blogs, and demos to showcase Vitis capabilities.
- Develop training materials and documentation for internal teams and external developers.
- Ensure content aligns with new feature releases and market positioning.
- Support key customers and developers
- Engage with strategic customers, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting.
- Gather customer feedback and collaborate with engineering teams to drive improvements.
- Assist in customer onboarding and proof-of-concept development when needed.
- Influence product roadmap and marketing strategy
- Analyze customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends to guide roadmap decisions.
- Work with engineering and product management to define feature priorities.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new releases and enhancements.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of software development flows and embedded system design.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, impactful messaging.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills for developer-focused content.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and sales teams.
Preferred Experience
- 7+ years in technical support, product/project management, or a related role.
- Experience in FPGA development, embedded system design, or high-level synthesis (HLS).
- Familiarity with FPGAs and SoC
- Hands-on experience with Python and C/C++.
- Background in roadmap planning, customer engagement, or technical enablement.
