Job Description

AsTechnical Manager - SaaS Data Protection, you will design and lead all modules powering our SaaS data protection solutions, including Office 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Zoho, Dropbox, and Box.

What you will be doing:

Technical Leadership & Architecture

  • Own the full-stack SaaS data protection architecture across Office 365, Google Workspace, Dropbox, Box, and Salesforce.
  • Define scalable patterns for incremental sync, delta detection, and versioned restore across heterogeneous SaaS APIs.
  • Lead technical roadmap for upcoming CRM platforms (HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) and unified data protection framework.

Team & Delivery Management

  • Lead a pod of backend engineers: mentor, run 1:1s, drive performance, and build engineering excellence.
  • Own sprint planning, cross-team alignment, and on-time delivery of multi-cloud backup features.
  • Partner with Product, DevOps, and QA to prioritize roadmap and resolve integration blockers.

Performance, Reliability & Operations

  • Champion 99.99% uptime with SLOs, distributed tracing, and chaos testing across SaaS data protection pipelines.

Data & Messaging Systems

  • Evolve MongoDB schemas for unified backup metadata, job history, and cross-workload indexing.
  • Scale RabbitMQ for high-throughput job orchestration, retry logic, and fan-out across SaaS connectors.
  • Ensure data consistency in multi-tenant, multi-region backup and restore workflows.

Cloud & API Integrations

  • Govern API connectors: Microsoft Graph, Google Workspace Admin SDK, Dropbox API, Box API, Salesforce REST/Bulk API.
  • Standardize rate-limiting, webhook handling, OAuth refresh, and change data capture (CDC) across platforms.
  • Own AWS S3 backend: multipart uploads, lifecycle policies, server-side encryption, and immutability.
