Job Description

Electrical Technical Manager - Commercial Property

Location: Gurgaon

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: 10+ Years

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Manager to oversee technical operations for our commercial property portfolio, including four 66 kVA GIS substations. This critical role ensures optimal electrical system performance, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective maintenance delivery.

Essential Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial/industrial facilities

Technical Expertise (Must Have)

  • Proven experience with GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) substation operations and maintenance
  • Expert knowledge in operation and maintenance of:
    • Transformers (66 kVA and various capacities)
    • DG Sets (Diesel Generator Sets)
    • HT/LT Panels (High Tension/Low Tension electrical panels)
  • Advanced proficiency in CAM (Common Area Maintenance) Energy budget management
  • Strong data analysis capabilities for electrical equipment energy consumption monitoring and optimization

Key Responsibilities

Technical Operations

  • Manage all electrical systems including GIS substations, transformers, DG sets, and HT/LT panels
  • Implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Ensure 24/7 system reliability and coordinate emergency response

Energy & Cost Management

  • Develop and manage CAM Energy budgets
  • Analyze energy consumption data across all electrical equipment
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and energy conservation initiatives
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and manage operational expenses

Compliance & Safety

  • Maintain regulatory compliance and electrical safety standards
  • Manage inspections, audits, and corrective actions
  • Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures

Team Leadership

  • Supervise engineering staff, contractors, and vendors
  • Conduct training and performance evaluations
  • Ensure proper technical documentation and knowledge transfer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional electrical engineering license/certifications
  • Experience with CMMS and building automation systems
  • Project management certification
  • Valid driver's license
