Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking Delivery Managers to own end-to-end professional services delivery for Nokia across our core network practices. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role, not a coordination role.The successful candidate will personally hold the technical depth to challenge designs, review solutions and unblock engineers, while simultaneously driving standardisation, automation and a culture of engineering excellence across the account. We are looking for leaders who set direction rather than administer it.Key Responsibilities
Delivery Ownership
- Own delivery commitments, milestones and quality for all professional services engagements within the assigned practice.
- Manage scope, effort estimation, staffing and utilisation against contracted deliverables.
- Serve as the primary delivery interface for Nokia stakeholders - project managers, solution architects and account leadership.
- Drive proactive risk identification, mitigation planning and transparent escalation.
- Govern delivery through structured reviews, published metrics and clear RAG status.
Technical Leadership - Hands On
- Maintain genuine working command of the practice domain participate directly in design reviews, MOP validation, integration troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Review and approve HLD/LLD, test strategies and cutover plans before they reach the customer.
- Act as the final technical escalation point within the practice.
- Set and enforce engineering quality standards across the delivery team.
Standardisation
- Build and maintain a common delivery framework for the practice - templates, checklists, MOPs, acceptance criteria and reusable design patterns.
- Eliminate project-specific improvisation move every engagement onto a repeatable baseline.
- Institutionalise lessons learned so a fix applied once becomes a standard applied everywhere.
- Define and track delivery KPIs consistently across engagements.
Automation and Efficiency
- Identify manual, repetitive and error-prone activities across the delivery lifecycle and build the business case to automate them.
- Drive automation of configuration, validation, health checks, migration and reporting activities.
- Set measurable efficiency targets - effort reduction, cycle time, first-time-right percentage - and hold the team to them.
- Contribute reusable assets to the wider Nokia BU automation programme, and consume from it rather than rebuilding.
Thought Leadership
- Track technology direction within the practice domain and translate it into capability plans for the team.
- Contribute solution ideas and differentiators into pre-sales and proposal responses.
- Publish internally - reference architectures, whitepapers, playbooks - and represent Infinite's capability in customer technical forums.
- Shape the practice roadmap rather than executing only against what the customer asks for.

- Build, mentor and retain a strong engineering team develop SMEs and successors within the practice.
- Set a high standard for ownership and dependability, and hold the team to it consistently.
- Communicate direction clearly so every engineer understands how their work connects to the account outcome.

Technical and Delivery Skills
- Hands-on experience with the Nokia network element portfolio and associated toolchain.
- Linux, containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud-native/NFV deployment models.
- Scripting and automation - Python, Shell, Ansible familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Network protocols: SIP, Diameter, HTTP/2, REST, SS7/SIGTRAN.
- Live network implementation, migration and swap experience.
- Proven delivery governance - estimation, planning, resource management, risk and financial tracking.
Leadership and Behavioural
- Demonstrated record of building and standardising a delivery practice, not just running projects.
- Evidence of automation-led efficiency gains with quantified outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication credible in front of senior customer stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and driving clarity for the team.
- Personal ownership - takes accountability for outcomes without deflection.
Preferred
- Prior experience within or alongside Nokia delivery organisations.
- Exposure to autonomous networks, AI/ML-assisted operations or observability tooling.
- Relevant certifications - Nokia product certifications, Kubernetes (CKA), ITIL, PMP or equivalent.
- Experience contributing to pre-sales, solutioning or RFP responses.
Success Measures - First 12 Months
- Delivery predictability: milestone adherence and first-time-right acceptance improved against a defined baseline.
- Standardisation: a published, adopted delivery framework covering the full engagement lifecycle for the practice.
- Automation: measurable manual effort reduction, with reusable assets contributed to the BU repository.
- Capability: an identified and developed SME bench, with reduced single-point dependency.
- Customer confidence: sustained positive Nokia stakeholder feedback and expanded scope within the practice.
