We are looking for a Embedded Firmware/Software engineering leader who is passionate about leading teams to deliver high quality firmware platforms and product application . Your primary responsibility will be to manage teams and their design & test efforts to deliver an industry leading solution for various Business and internal platforming missions . You will be working in a high-powered environment to solve challenging problems, using best in class tools and new technology on wireless & IoT connectivity . You will be responsible for working closely with the multiple agile project team s to understand and plan milestones for your team. In your team, you will be responsible for the resource management, risk management , competency management and technical content management to achieve the business objectives .
Responsibilities include:
Managing development and test activities of multiple scrum team both internal and for cross functions
To derive overall strategy related to above items including resource augmentation and competency development in embedded Firmware including C, C++ , Embedded Java on RTOS, Linux and associated electronics/hardware
Product or embedded firmware development for communication technologies wired (Ethernet , Serial Bus), Wireless ( Wi-Fi , BLE, ZigBee, NB - IoT)
Strong ownership of team s deliverables
Knowledge of Cyber security standards or usage in project worked.
Well versed with Agile. Collaborate with various development teams, business stakeholders and architects to establish goals and priorities for your scrum teams
Responsible for continually improving efficiencies related to your perimeter.
Support working within the business processes and leading appropriate improvements
Provide risk assessment and mitigations to Project Management through the development cycle
Resource management and career planning. Other personnel management items include (but not limited to) evaluations, goal setting, merit planning, performance management, etc
Responsible for having a very strong influence with stakeholders on determining if we have high-quality product ready for stakeholders
Occasionally work directly with support and sales staff to address critical customer needs
Product development knowledge communication-based product/s for Industrial is plus
Working on Microcontroller platforming solutions will be added advantage.
Qualifications
Proven experience 12+ years in embedded electronics firmware design and delivery with technologies like C, C++ or Embedded Java , OOAD for both constraint and advance micro-controller hardware platforms. Knowledge of working RTOS or Linux based operating system as part of the product.
At least 3 + years of technical management , people management or leading large team of 10-15 people with architects, developers, expert and test
BE/MTech with Electronics / Electrical / IT / Computer Science
