Role Overview

The Technical Manager will lead the technical team supporting solution delivery, implementation oversight, and advanced technical support. You'll partner with sales, operations, and external partners to ensure robust solution designs and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical strategy and execution for complex AV solutions across multiple product lines

Manage, mentor, and grow a team of technical engineers and specialists

Oversee technical pre-sales and post-sales support ensuring high quality delivery

Work with sales leadership to refine solution offerings and bundles

Drive design reviews, architecture validation, and deployment planning

Support customer escalations and advanced troubleshooting

Standardize technical documentation, best practices, and internal training programs

Coordinate with vendors and strategic partners for product validation, demos, and certifications

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent
• Experience: 712+ years of technical experience (pre-sales + implementation) in AV/IT/Systems Integration environment with at least 23 years in a leadership/managerial role

Skills & Competencies

Deep knowledge of professional AV systems, networked AV, DSP, conferencing ecosystems

Proven capability in team leadership, coaching, and cross-functional coordination

Strong communicator with experience interfacing with C-suite/executives and technical teams

Comfortable in solution design reviews, architecture documents, and delivery governance

Ability to prioritize, multitask, and operate in a fast-paced environment

Vendor relationship management skills

Nice-to-Have

Hands-on experience with popular AV product ecosystems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Shure, Barco)

Experience in project delivery cycles with integration partners

Technical certifications (networking/AV/Project Management)
