Job Description:
- Android Framework and Native development and customizations
- Must have worked on Android framework customization extensively
- Excellent in Java and/or C++, Android SDK, Android NDK
- Android KPI, Boot and Memory optimizations
- Experience in converting Android HIDL to AIDL interfaces implementation and customizations
- Android CTS and VTS debugging and issue fixing
- Interface with Various Domains within Android Product Line to achieve Stability metrics.
- Understanding the customer requirements
- Ensure the delivery of features in scope, time and quality.
- Report status, issues and progress of the SW development to the management
- Effort estimation for Change Requests from Product Management
- Ensure pre-integration testing and verification for the functional area and its features. Android Framework
Skills Required:
- 10+ years of experience on embedded systems, Android Automotive Framework (AAOS) and Native development.
- Strong Java, C++, Linux, Kotlin, GIT, SVN, REST API's
- Strong experience on data structure, programming and algorithms concepts.
- Good understanding of Android HALs (HIDL and AIDL)
- Good Knowledge of Android Profiler and Systrace tools
- Good Knowledge of System design and design principles.
- Knowledge of Android Boot Sequence and various Framework module architecture.
- Knowledge of Thread, CPU and memory management concepts.
- Good understanding of Android build system for different flavors.
- SELINUX troubleshooting issues on a run-time environment.
- Hands-on troubleshooting issues on a run-time environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Android System concepts
- Debugging Android ROMs, ANR, Blank screen and crashes
- Should have experience in Android development and debugging robust systems
- Proficient in IPC and OS concepts for binder optimizations.
- Creative problem-solver and experience in Android internals
- Android build, porting and customization experience
- System and kernal level debugging
- Experience in system integration for automotive infotainment systems is preferred.
