Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain reports using Eclipse BIRT.
- Work with sales and technical teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Design report layouts, data sets, and report parameters.
- Write and maintain Java-based logic to support report development and integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation, formatting, and performance.
- Validate report accuracy and ensure data consistency.
- Optimize existing reports for usability, efficiency, and maintainability.
- Support deployment and migration of reports across environments.
- Prepare technical documentation for report designs and development changes.
- Collaborate with team members on bug fixes, enhancements, and support activities.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of software development experience.
- Experience working in enterprise reporting or business application environments.
- Good hands-on experience in Java.
- Experience with or understanding of Eclipse BIRT report development.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of report design concepts, data sets, parameters, and scripting.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
