Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 support for network-related incidents and service requests
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and Internet connectivity
Handle escalations from L1 and coordinate with L3 / vendors for complex issues
Monitor network health using NMS tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.)
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Support network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs
Participate in on-call / shift-based support as required

Technical Skills Required

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, NAT
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or Fortinet devices
Good understanding of routing & switching (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP basics)
Experience with firewalls and VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
Basic knowledge of network security concepts
Experience working in ITIL-based environments
