About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to take ownership of a mission-critical backend platform within the Trevolution travel division at Dyninno Group.

You will lead the technical direction of a high-traffic, distributed backend system that sits at the core of our daily business operations. This is a true end-to-end technical ownership role requiring strong engineering judgment, hands-on expertise, and the ability to guide a team through complex, ambiguous problem spaces.

The ideal candidate combines strong Go engineering skills with experience in scalable distributed systems, a pragmatic engineering mindset, and proven leadership capabilities in growing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of complex backend systems and integrations with downstream services.
• Own the architecture of core backend components, driving decisions around scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Define and govern integration patterns across multiple services in a distributed microservices environment.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of high-volume, low-latency systems.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide engineers; establish best practices in code quality, testing, observability, and security.
• Lead technical decision-making, trade-off analysis, and architectural governance.
• Own production stability, including troubleshooting incidents, performance issues, and system bottlenecks.
• Partner with peer platform teams to align architecture and share engineering standards.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience:

• 8–12 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 2+ years in a Tech Lead or Principal Engineer role.
• Proven experience leading high-traffic, production-scale backend platforms.
• Experience in the travel domain is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Go (Golang): Strong proficiency required, including concurrency, memory management, and idiomatic patterns.
• Node.js experience is a plus.
• Databases: Strong experience with at least one at scale (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
• Redis: caching strategies, streams, and key/value design patterns.
• Elasticsearch: search and analytics use cases.
• Microservices & APIs: REST, JSON, service design, and integration contracts.
• Security: OAuth, JWT, API security best practices.
• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Sentry, distributed tracing.
• Containers & CI/CD: Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI (or similar).
• Cloud: AWS, GCP, or Azure experience.
• Event-driven architecture: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.
• Testing: strong discipline in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar tools) and using AI agents to improve engineering productivity.
