Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Microservices architecture, SQL, and Azure Data Engineering. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications and data pipelines, while mentoring team members and driving best practices across engineering teams.

This role requires a blend of hands-on coding, system design, and technical leadership, with a focus on building cloud-native, data-driven solutions on Azure.

Total experience: 5 to 8 years

Location: Bangalore

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable microservices-based applications using Python
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Build and manage robust data pipelines and data engineering workflows using Azure services
• Design efficient and optimized SQL queries, data models, and database schemas
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of applications and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Data Engineering, and DevOps
• Drive best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and code reviews
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers
• Participate in architecture discussions and technology decision-making
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide scalable solutions
