Technical Lead

Company Description SREELAKSHMI ENTERPRISES (SLE) is a proprietorship firm supported by an experienced managerial team, largely drawn from retired personnel of the Indian Armed Forces and government services. The company provides technical and non-technical manpower services to leading establishments across Kerala, including major telecom organizations such as Reliance and VIOM. SLE has been associated with Reliance Communications since 2002 for OFC and tower operations and maintenance, and with INDUS Towers Limited since 2008 for cell site operation and maintenance in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The company manages a large tenancy of telecom operators and is responsible for infrastructure maintenance such as diesel generators, AC units, battery banks, and related equipment to ensure high uptime. SLE also supports networks for Idea, Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel, Tata, Reliance, BSNL, and operates its own fleet and logistics infrastructure to maintain reliable field operations.

Role Description The Technical Lead will oversee day-to-day technical operations and maintenance activities for telecom infrastructure, including cell sites and associated equipment, in Ernakulam. This full-time, on-site role involves leading technical teams, planning and assigning field tasks, and ensuring adherence to customer uptime and quality standards. The Technical Lead will coordinate repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance of diesel generators, AC systems, battery banks, OFC networks, and tower equipment, while monitoring performance metrics and resolving technical issues promptly. The role includes collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders, preparing operational reports, and implementing process improvements for efficiency and safety. The Technical Lead will also mentor and guide technicians, support compliance with regulatory and company policies, and contribute to capacity planning and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Strong background in telecom infrastructure operations and maintenance, including experience with cell sites, OFC networks, and tower equipment.
• Technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems such as diesel generators, AC units, battery banks, and related power and cooling equipment.
• Proven leadership skills in supervising technical teams, coordinating field activities, and mentoring technicians in a high-uptime environment.
• Ability to analyze technical issues, interpret performance data, and implement effective troubleshooting and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Solid understanding of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices in telecom and infrastructure maintenance.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for working with clients, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple sites and projects.
• Relevant technical qualification such as a diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline.
