Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on senior automation expert responsible for designing scalable automation frameworks and leading their implementation across data and application layers. This role requires a technical anchor who actively contributes to development while driving architecture decisions and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks for data workflows and applications.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, procedures, and performance tuning.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Write robust automation scripts using Python and .NET.
- Drive architecture decisions, coding standards, and best practices across the team.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a hands-on approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations within the insurance domain.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in SQL, including performance tuning and complex queries.
- Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL design and optimization.
- Proficiency in Scripting for automation tasks.
- Strong development experience in .NET.
- Experience in designing automation frameworks and reusable components.
- Proven experience in automation testing methodologies and tools.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with cloud-based automation solutions.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in automation engineering and architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
