Overview
We are seeking an experienced technical leader to guide the development and evolution of a robust payment gateway platform. This role involves setting the technical direction, ensuring scalability and security, and driving innovation in API development for payment processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Architecture & Development: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of payment gateway APIs built with Java and Spring Boot.
- Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices in architecture, coding standards, and security.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle principles and agile methodologies throughout the project.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development, primarily with Java and Spring Boot.
- Minimum 3 years in a technical leadership or managerial capacity.
- Proven ability to design and deliver secure, scalable APIs.
- Strong understanding of agile development processes and SDLC.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in payment systems or financial technology.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL).
Language Requirement
- Advanced proficiency in English for technical discussions and documentation.
