The Senior SharePoint Engineer is a handson technical role responsible for executing and supporting SharePoint Online tenanttotenant migrations within Microsoft 365, administering SharePoint Online environments, and providing advanced enduser support. This role focuses on planning, migrating, validating, and supporting SharePoint sites during organizational transitions, using industrystandard migration tools (such as ShareGate) while ensuring secure, wellgoverned, and reliable SharePoint Online services
Technical Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of handson experience administering SharePoint Online within Microsoft 365, including site collections, hub sites, permissions, sharing policies, and tenantlevel configuration.
- Proven 2-3+ years of direct experience executing SharePoint Online tenanttotenant migrations, including discovery, premigration cleanup, content staging, cutover, and postmigration.
- Handson expertise with SharePoint migration tools such as ShareGate, including permission mapping, incremental migrations, reporting, and error remediation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin portals (SharePoint Admin Center, Microsoft 365 Admin Center) for monitoring, configuration, and support activities
