Purpose and Scope
Drive end-to-end telecom regulatory compliance for Ericsson products in India. The role secures timely testing, certification, registration and renewals while providing regulatory intelligence, risk mitigation and technical support to Government & Policy Advocacy activities. The role supports the GIR/GPA covering regulatory analysis, trusted stakeholder engagement and mitigation of political, regulatory and business risks.

Drive end-to-end telecom regulatory compliance for Ericsson products in India. The role secures timely testing, certification, registration and renewals while providing regulatory intelligence, risk mitigation and technical support to Government & Policy Advocacy activities. The role supports the GIR/GPA covering regulatory analysis, trusted stakeholder engagement and mitigation of political, regulatory and business risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage MTCTE, ITSAR, NSDTS/Trusted Product, TEC, NCCS, WPC, DPL and other applicable telecom approvals and certifications.
- Coordinate quotations, prepare documentation, purchase-order requests, invoice verification, GRN confirmation, DUT/equipment ordering and shipment support with Sourcing and Supply.
- Track TEC/NCCS requirements, test-lab accreditation, manufacturing locations, test reports, certificates and certification milestones; provide timely updates to concerned teams.
- Coordinate with approved test laboratories, TEC, NCCS, industry bodies and internal technical teams for test planning, execution, extensions and closure of test cases.
- Maintain the regulatory repository, certification records, Trusted Product tracker and supporting compliance documentation.
- Prepare undertakings and regulatory submissions for TEC, NSDTS and NCCS, and share approved test reports and certificates with CU and Domain teams.
- Assess product applicability under MTCTE associated-product and family definitions to optimize test coverage, avoid unnecessary duplicate testing and accelerate certification timelines.
- Identify technical and regulatory challenges, escalate concerns and drive mitigation plans through closure.
- Support authorized and transparent engagement with regulators, government bodies, laboratories and industry associations, including accurate documentation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in telecommunications, electronics, electrical engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
- Typically 10-12 years of experience in telecom regulatory compliance, product certification, telecom security, testing or regulatory affairs.
- Practical knowledge of MTCTE, ITSAR, TEC, NCCS, NSDTS/Trusted Product, WPC, DPL, including regulatory documentation and lab coordination.
- Experience managing telecom product certification activities with vendors, functional teams, accredited test laboratories, TEC and NCCS, including quotations, purchase orders, invoices, test equipment, shipments and manufacturing-location confirmations.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements, assess associated-product and family applicability, identify technical or certification risks, and drive mitigation and approval activities to closure.
- Strong stakeholder management with integrity, ownership, attention to detail and communication skills.
