Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices supporting Smart Square business capabilities
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs consumed by web and mobile clients
- Develop and maintain data integrations and ETL workflows
- Create CI/CD pipeline for automated and continuous deployment
- Write, tune, and maintain Oracle SQL, stored procedures, and performance-critical queries
- Implement caching strategies using Redis to improve performance and scalability
- Package and deploy services using Docker in Linux-based environments
- Operate services in AWS, including troubleshooting production issues and improving reliability
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning
- Support operational excellence through observability tools that include monitoring, logging, and incident response

Work Experience
- Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Deep understanding of React hooks (useState, useEffect, useMemo, useCallback, custom hooks)
- Experience with state management (Redux)
- Solid understanding of component architecture, lifecycle, and performance optimization
- Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible UI
- Proficiency in TypeScript (preferred for scalable applications)
- Strong HTML5 / CSS3 skills Styled Components, or CSS Modules)
- Strong experience with Java and Spring / Spring Boot
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Trunk based and launch dark experience
- Background in CICD to include SAST, Quality, AI, library management, and defect management
- AI Test generation, documentation, PR assistance
- Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Cloudtrail, CloudFront, Cloudwatch, RDS, S3, or similar)
- Solid background working with Oracle Database
- SQL development
- Stored procedures
- Query optimization
- Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on large, existing enterprise codebases
- Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures
- Experience modernizing legacy systems or decomposing monoliths
- Knowledge of healthcare, workforce management, or scheduling systems (nice to have)
